if you condemn the chinese for supressing religious freedom, you must also condemn HH Dalai Lama for suppressing religious freedom too. Otherwise you become a hypocrite! If you say Dalai Lama is right to ban Shugden then according to you it's ok for the chinese to suppress tibetans in Tibet and stop them from worshipping the Dalai Lama. this is for all those yellow head people who are in this video. we tibetan Buddhist people always says "lama la kyabsu che , sangay la kyabsu che, choe la kyabsu che, gyendun la kyabsu che". when you wear that monk dress then may be you know the meaning of that too. in our religion there is lots of different between buddha and god i mean "lha". we tibetan never fully depend(kyabsu choepa) on lha(god)If we start doing that then there won't be diff between hindu and buddist.but we always have to respect them. we even depend on lama. who always give us way and teaching. they will never gonna harm us even we did wrong or we stop praying them. but may be you know lha and lu they harm people. if you dont follow very well.

At this time we can do better without any problem within the community. The followers of the Shugden should be given the choice to practice what they want as long as it is not done officially. The Tibetan government follows the practice of divide and rule which is not healthy. The Khampa and Utsang issue over Kongpo, The Chushi Gangdruk controversy, The Karmapa Controversy. We need to bring the Tibetan people together and not divide them. The Shugden followers too are Tibetans.

Hey, Nyima, Tenzin, Karma, Pema, Jabyang, Norbu, Tserng...or Everyone here....listen. I just posted over here the othere day, as you can read. We Tibetans have problem and this Shugden is one of them. However, if we dont handle wisely, this could be the worst in Lord Budha's name. Though, Shugden is practiced mainly in Geluk and some in Sakya, the other religion sects have nothing to do with this. HOwever, as politicised it as a national problem, even though we are not Geluk or Sakya, we all have responsibilites toward this problem to solve it in a peaceful way. Majority, 99% of these shugden followers are Geluks. However, should i call them thug or what? I dont know, if that thug nick is pronounced then i think everyone big Lama were one time thug too, including H. Holiness. What i realized in our community, whether educated or not, if we dont like something, on our wish or whatever, we tend to call all sort to others, without judging anything. Though i dont worship because i am not from these religion sects, it is my kind support that we need peaceful solution for this problem. Because, this is an image of all Tibetans in international ground. Another problem is rather then solving the problem through dialoge, we ignore the solution and end up fighting each other which we are ignorant or careless. We Tibetans need democracy and we also act like democratic but in real ground, we dont want to listen each other and that is the real picture or real situation we have today.
May be some people here can be from Shugden, but whether that is shugden or not or totally from different sects, we or our community or government in exile neglect the voice of people who talk a little different, objective, criticise. Criticizing in a meaningful way should always welcome to our community, or exile government. We oblight to respect and listen everything what our exile government says, which we have to pay a price one day. If anybody has a substance and logic to talk or criticize, we always tend to accuse that person a chinese spy or anything. Anyway, i personally want peace within our religion sects and within Geluk too. I pray and wish each and every Tibetan should think wisely and seriously about these problems. Western has supported us and western take interest on Buddhism. It is good thing, But we really have to careful on this matter. Western people can not be blamed. This is our problem, Tibetans, rather than badmouthing each other or to the westerners, It is time to think and solve this problem. The first thing is H. Holiness shouldnt take it light and also the exile government. H.H. the Dalai Lama and exile must find a peaceful way approach and try to bring our people together. United we Stand. if not we will surely fall. The treatment of our exile government, community to the shugden followers are not fair enough, though i myself is nothing to do with this shugden cos i am Nyingmapa. But if not taken careful way, it might destory the pride of Tibetan Buddhism for sure. It is not to be blamed the shugden followers only, it is the responsibility of all including H. H. and exile government and rest tibetans. I hope we and our religion prevail in future.

I didn't realise i had made so many silly errors... i seek no apology..its an outburst of agony and same that besets one into such futility.

And i noticed that i had completely forgotten to comment on the foriegners or the Injis... quite frankly i don't think whatever the iinjis say shouldn' bother us any bit. The same applies to our struggle...our independence and the gravity of its loss can be felt by none other than "us" and our brothers and sisters in Tibet. Unless WE the Tibetans fully embraced the significance of this struggle and dedicate ourselves sincerely and wholeheartedly, i don't think any outseide help will make a difference. And the same actual analysis goes other way round to the injis denouncing the Dali Lama..its not going to make any difference. but when it is a Tibetan who is making such allegations then..the shame in on us. Hence my dear brothers ..the generation of the educated and the intellects pls try yur best to adhere to the conscience of yur inner thoughts and be not led by the force of ignorance .....be it the worshipper or the non worshipper.

I am shocked and dismayed equally to the extreme of total disgust by the way this issue has been handled by our govt.
There is a seaky reality in our community of making the Dalai Lama as a shield in matters related to such sensitive issues. And i can swear that, once HH the Dalai Lama is not with us, these pple who tends to wear the garb of leadership in the Tibetan community be it even in the local levels, their patriotism will dissipate and, i will be damned, if they also sit along the so called devils and act oblivious( same goes to the struggle of Rangzen). The issue of Shugden has been misinterpreted by some of the higher ups in the kashag and the private office, in the name of the Dalai Lama. Yes, the dalai Lama did make a statement and i did not see a shred of antagonism in that. I am not a shugdhen worshipper and niether do i sympathise with the non worshippers... i just one thing sqaure in the eyes of the both and that is Religion has tarnished the struggle of Tibet to the extend of total absurdity. WHY DON'T PPLE STOP OR BURN DOWN THE HOUSES OF THOSE WORSHIPPERS WHILE THEY JOIN THE 10TH MARCH PROTEST?
WHY IS THE SHUGDHEN WORSHIPPERS DEVIL WORSHIPPERS WHEN IT WAS THOSE VERY PEOPLE WHO ESCORTED HH THE DALAI LAMA TO IINDIA?
THIS ISSUE WILL FIZZLE OUT LIKE THE TAIWAN ISSUE.
I think its about time we looked the matter beyond it and try to reconcile ourselves with the issue at heart that, WE ARE ALL TIBETANS AND IT IS TO THE BETTERMENT OF OUR SOLIDARITY AND THE FUTRE OF THE POSTERITY AT LARGE".... I did watch Samdhong rinpoche lashing out the Shugdhen worshippers in one of his speeches in the south in a sweltering heat to a crowd dominated by students who must have been in the teens with exhastive looks listening with sullen conviction to whatever he was saying from the convenience of his shaded stance. This to me reminded of a mere brainwashing tactics than any intellectual mannerism.
Such attitudes by our govt. should be well monitored by the public in general. I love my country and i am proud to have a leader like HH the Dalai Lama. But i am every bit skeptical about the way we treat ourselves...

First of all, he publicly ADVISED people in huge audience the harm from practicing that spirit, not behind some close door. Secondly, the world tour and the humorous session of lectures that His Holiness give got us, Tibetan, yes like you and I to the place where we are right now. The bottom line is right now is a critical time for Tibetan to stand up as one and fight the one thing that really stop us from practicing our rights-- the Chinese government. I am not sure why they are complaining. Dalai Lama stated that they are more than welcome to practice their own religion in their community as long as they know that he is affiliated with their practices. So, what is so wrong with separating himself from something he disagrees with.
